Description
Certified organic and cold-pressed, our black cumin seed oil is potency-validated to contain 2.38% thymoquinone, the biologically active compound recognized for relief from symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
Black cumin, Nigella sativa, produces seeds which, when cold-pressed, yield therapeutic amounts of beneficial fatty acids and thymoquinone. This annual herbaceous plant is indigenous to the Mediterranean region yet has a history of use exceeding three thousand years throughout the Middle East, Northern Africa, and parts of Asia.
Allergic rhinitis affects approximately 20 percent of North Americans. The biological activity of thymoquinone could inhibit histamine release, which yields common symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hay fever). The same therapeutic action can also prove effective year-round for indoor allergens.
The potency of our oil has been validated in our ISO 17025–accredited laboratory. This makes our Black Cumin Seed Oil a natural selection for allergy relief and a great source of antioxidants for the maintenance of good health.
