Suggested Use

Recommended use

• Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic to achieve flushing of the urinary tract as an adjuvant in minor urinary complaints.
• Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a urinary antiseptic to help relieve benign urinary tract infections.

Directions

Adults: To prepare a cup of tea, infuse 1 tea bag in 150-250 mL of boiling water. Allow the herbs to steep for at least 10 minutes. Drink 3-4 cups daily.

Cautions

Do not use if you:

• are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/ Daisy/Anethole family.
• have impaired kidney function, kidney stones, gallstones, or biliary obstruction.

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you:

• have anaemia or oedema due to a kidney or cardiovascular disorder.
• are taking blood thinners.

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
